The research objective. In this study it is necessary to generalize ideas about creativity, creative activity, to determine the basic mechanisms of development of creative abilities. To consider creative activity as a condition and the result of the development of creative potential of the individual, its self-realization in modern society.

The statement of basic materials. Studies of creativity originate in ancient philosophy, where Aristotle in "Metaphysics" has determined that experience is "Emperia", it is associated with activity, activity is "praxis", "Froneseis" - prudence, and creativity in the philosopher appears as a philosopher "Techne", the art or skill through which "Evdomonia" occurs, that is, self-realization of a person that is possible through the realization of one's own abilities [2]. Creativity is often considered in the context of activity, as a result of which a person creates qualitatively new material and spiritual values, as a person's ability to create a new socio-cultural space. Man, through activity, transforms the world, adapts the environment to their needs, forms a culture. As a result of the activity, the creative potential of a person is realized. Thanks to creative activity, the process of realizing the needs of both individuals and society as a whole. As a form of culture, creative activity is a higher activity. Creativity as a separate activity is characterized by certain features, the presence of a problematic situation, original and new approaches to its solution, creativity, social significance, uniqueness of the process of activity itself and the novelty of the results. The abilities and properties of the individual are the source of creativity, their interaction is the driving force of the creative process. Activities “Only then can scientific philosophical comprehensive when it - activity - is regarded as amateur activity” [7, p. 109]. Self-realization of personality occurs through the disclosure of creative potential, which has such traits as giftedness, creativity, readiness for various forms of activity and productivity. According to V. Karpenko, creative potential is "needs, value orientations, personality quality, inclinations, hidden structured resources, reserves, creative impulses, internal energy, productive forces, needs of knowing oneself and others" [4, p. 192]. As A. Maslow notes, creativity is "a universal function of a person that leads to all forms of expression." The creative act not only combines the general patterns of creativity, but is also personally defined, each person in the creative process adds something new, personal. Creative activity is aimed at creating qualitatively new values, both personal and social. In the structure of creative activity it is possible to determine the very process of creative activity, the result, or the product of activity, directly the performer of the activity and the conditions in which the activity takes place. In order for creative activity to be effective, it is necessary to build strategies for organizing a creative process, to develop methods that would stimulate creative search. In order for creative activity to be effective, it is necessary to build strategies for organizing a creative process, to develop methods that would stimulate creative search. In V. Molyako, the development of human abilities in the performed activity is one of the factors of the effectiveness of the creative process, the ability "is not the cause of human success in activity, but a consequence of the development of makings in activity" [5, p.11]. It is possible to achieve a full realization of abilities through a combination of thinking, emotions, motivation. The work of the human spirit is revealed in the work. "Explanation of the nature of human being through the categories of" spirit "and" spirituality "means that a person can not only know and reflect the world, but also create it" [6, p. 106]. From the state of inspiration, the developed imagination begins the formation of creative abilities of man. I. Voloshchuk determines that emotional-volitional processes are a component of human creative activity [3]. In the process of creative activity, a person seeks to "go beyond", there is "self-creation, self-expression, self-realization" of personality [4, p. 192]. As a result of creative activity, a person learns new methods and means, accordingly, creativity at the same time becomes an act of knowing reality.

Conclusions. The combination of personal qualities and abilities of the individual is an internal source of creativity that are realized in the creative process. Creativity is a means of self-realization of personality, each person has a certain level of development of creative thinking, and creative potential can be realized in the process of creative activity. Different manifestations of the spiritual world of man are determined by multifaceted forms of creativity, and the realization of its spiritual being ensures the creation of new values of material and spiritual culture. In creative activity, a person transforms new ideas into a social product that becomes accessible to understanding and perception by other people. The human life itself is a continuous creativity, where every emotion, thought, activity are subjects of creativity.
