Urgency of the research. is determined by the social and economic, political and cultural contradictions of the dynamic development of mankind in the post-industrial, informational society. They have become an objective precondition for the evolution of the post-industrial, informational period of the development of civilization.

Target setting. Information society as a phenomenon of scientific and technological progress, and even more so, the person who is the basis of this society, needs further detailed study. In fact, there is an intensification of the information level of interaction, which is accompanied by regulation, and sometimes also by the legitimization of moral and ethical interactions.

Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The problem of the information society as anew stage in the development of mankind, its conceptualization, was devoted to many works of well-known researchers: D.Bell, R. Darendorf, A. Etzioni, M. Castells, T. Stounier, A. Tofler, A. Turen etc.

The research objectives. Find out the essence of the information society; determine the place of a person in society at this stage; to reveal the positive and negative potential of the information society for a person.

The statement of basic materials. Approaches to understanding the essence of the information society are considered. It was found out that the basis of the worldview is the characteristic of the relation to modern technologies, namely, scientific and technological progress, the basis of which was the invention of computer technology and the ability to digitize information, as well as polonization, computerization of all spheres of human activity. All these phenomena are dictated by the times of integration and globalization and have a significant impact on man as an anthropological view.

Conclusions. The post-industrial stage of development, presented by the information, is conditioned by the time and the prior activity of society. The new stage brought not only positive and negative changes that are reflected in time, space and human activity-he put forward new demands on the person himself and everything related to her stay in the world as an anthropological kind.
