Urgency of the research. The globalization of education has led to the emergence of such concepts as international education, educational diplomacy, cross-border education, academic mobility, international and multicultural education, which requires the educational management to take appropriate initiatives, which are possible through a clear strategy and multifunctional system of tactical tasks. In this context, the management of international educational activities has a significant responsibility, namely: the formation of international educational policy, internationalization and integration of educational space, improving the quality of education and its accessibility, competitiveness of national educational systems in the world educational services etc.

Target setting. Of course, any educational activities, especially on an international scale, cannot be effectively implemented without rational management, so the concept of the "management of international educational activities" requires the detailed theoretical justification and structuring. Such socio-political, educational phenomena such as academic mobility, educational volunteering, educational diplomacy, the market of educational services, etc. cannot exist without effective management, because as theories that have significant practical significance for the development of the educated community, they are characterized mostly as uncontrolled, unsystematic and economically unstable.

Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. Despite the active implementation of certain components of international scientific and educational activities, the research of the concept and phenomenon of the management of international educational activities has a fragmentary, isolated nature. Among the scientists S. Burij, R. Zakieva, L. Kalinina, A. Kosevich & V. Kozhina, О. Marmaza, S Wilkins & S Neri, J. Knight, Bishwa Bala Thapa and rely on their results.

The research objective. To research of the essence of the concept of management of international educational activities, its components and principles of implementation.

The statement of basic materials. The process of implementation of international educational activities should be based on the principles of: humanization, openness, accessibility of innovation, competitiveness, continuity, accessibility, where the effective management is a means.  The management of international educational activities is considered as a relatively new phenomenon in terms of theoretically sound and experimentally tested technologies and systems for effective management of education and its structural components in the international context.

Conclusions. The management of international educational activities is cultural and political, income-generating, organized, motivated and controlled management activities in the field of international education, aimed not only at the productive functioning and development of international education, but also that contributes to the sustainable development of human civilization in general.
