Urgency of the research. The modern world is characterized as a society of the globalization period, which causes the emergence of new phenomena in all aspects of its existence. Art culture is one of the largest spheres of influence of existing globalization processes.

Target setting. Transformations of art culture under the influence of globalization cause changes in art education. Modern realities require the future teacher to focus on universal values, knowledge of various types of artistic practice to understand global socio-cultural phenomena.

Actual scientific research and issues analysis. The research of S. Klepko, O. Danyliuk, N. Kornienko, V. Shulgina, and O. Yakovlev are devoted to the problems of artistic synthesis as an educational potential. The synthesis of science, art and education is a leading idea in the research of L. Zolotareva and L. Kalinina. Reproduction of the interdependence of art culture and art education of the future teacher is covered by the works of L. Masol, V. Ragozina, L. Shkolyar, O. Shcholokova, O. Rudnytska, S. Solomakha.

The research objective. The article aims to determine strategies for using the possibilities of artistic synthesis in the art education of future teachers through the prism of scientific knowledge.

The statement of basic materials. The synthesis of the arts is not the latest concept, but at the beginning of the XXI century it acquired a unique, compared to other eras, role in the artistic culture of modern society. Modern artistic practices are characterized by new synthetic properties, and therefore approaches to the mastery of modern teachers of modern art forms should take into account the relevant features of perception of works of art and synesthetic features of the process of artistic creation. Updating the technologies of art education and its methodological basis in the context of artistic synthesis is a factor in effectively solving the problems of artistic training of future teachers.

Conclusions. The use of the concept of artistic synthesis in the art education of the future teacher will be effective under the following conditions:

- if the basic concept of technology will be based on a scientific approach to the holistic perception of the phenomena of modern cultural process;

- if a system of meanings is introduced into the educational process, which reproduces the model of a holistic artistic picture of the modern world;

- if the content of education will be aimed at creating a holistic research image of the artistic picture of the world.
