Urgency of the research. The socio-cultural dynamics that characterize the modern global information civilization pose new challenges for human being. Many of them cannot be answered without a strong personal and educational base. Education is emerging as a key element of human preparation in the new socio-cultural and civilizational-informational reality.
Target setting. The first third of the XXI century is characterized by a number of economic, political and socio-cultural changes, the combination of which forms a new, not yet fully solved challenge to the system of preparing people for life through education. The completion of the education of the industrial society and the beginning of the education of the information society form new challenges to the education of Ukraine.
Actual scientific research and issues analysis. Current trends in the transformation of any social phenomenon are changing with extremely dynamic and unpredictable temporality. This necessitates constant conceptual reflection on the basic worldview, philosophical and axiological parameters of the analysis of such phenomena. There is a significant achievement in the educational, philosophical and educational literature of Ukrainian researchers, in particular, it is important to note the works of such scientists as V. Andrushchenko, V. Bondar, V. Bekh, O. Vysotska, V. Gorlinsky, T. Desyatov, O. Kyvliuk, V. Kremen, V. Ognevyuk, L. Margulina, V. Maslov, J. Melnyk, M. Mykhalchenko, V. Molodychenko, T. Sigida, O. Spivakovsky, O. Yakymchuk and others. New global-civilizational circumstances create a relevant basis for further study of the transformation of education in the new socio-cultural dynamics.
The research objective. The purpose of the study is a conceptual and theoretical analysis of the general characteristics of socio-cultural dynamics of the XXI century as a major factor in the formation of a new system of human preparation for life through education.
The statement of basic materials. Radical changes in the world order, new trends in the economy, culture, political and legal relations require a revision of the paradigmatic foundations of education in the XXI century. Solving this problem is a very important task, because the education system provides the formation of civic, professional, moral and other qualities that contribute to the formation of the individual as a member of a particular social community. The close relationship between values and the process of forming value orientations with educational practices is one of the most important basic constants of the interdependence of education and spiritual values. Trying to identify and explain the main trends of socio-cultural change in the XXI century, scientists use several basic theoretical models, which in turn allows us to see possible directions for updating the educational system. Number of new socio-cultural phenomena in the XXI century need their further scientific understanding and clarification of their impact on educational processes.
Conclusions. Socio-cultural dynamics of the XXI century is one of the basic factors in the formation of a new education system and is characterized by various (sometimes contradictory) trends and features. At the present stage of development of cultural and civilizational systems, the educational systems of countries (Ukraine as well) are gradually being reformatted under the influence of democratization, globalization, informatization, national and cultural revival, European integration processes, etc.
