Urgency of the research is due to one of the most dramatic problems of the present - the ability of humanity to survive in an environment where advances in high technology have led to increased mass consumption, overpopulation of the Earth, declining biodiversity, destruction of forest plantations, pollution of large and small rivers. Military action could lead to a global nuclear disaster, so all this and many other issues are increasing the pressure on nature. More than ever before, humanity needs to affirm new values, moral orientations, and, in particular, the formation of environmental education, otherwise, it risks perishing in a global ecological catastrophe.
Target setting. The need to find new value orientations and moral norms for the regulation of society became apparent and the discussion of these issues shifted to the ethics of responsibility as an ethics of the future. The most important are ecological principles, consciously chosen by man as ecological values and ideals, which become the basis of his ecological awareness and beliefs, which later translate into environmentally appropriate behaviour in production activities.
Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The solution to contemporary problems is difficult to imagine without reference to the ethics of responsibility, and the philosophy of morality. There are publications on this subject by G. Jonas. He creates a material ontological ethics of values where being and its preservation are central. The paradigm of preservation of being is supported by A. Schopenhauer, A. Schweitzer, and T. Meyer. O. Geffe, R. Goldfeld, J. Rau, and others put forward the problems of interaction between ethics and science. Ukrainian philosophers promote principles of responsible politics, and environmental education - V. Gur, A. Yermolenko, S. Samchuk, M. Kiselev, and others. But despite the weighty contribution of philosophers, and questions of ecological knowledge, the ethics of the future of environmental education always need to be addressed.
The research objective. Highlight the need for an ethics of responsibility and its methodological foundations in environmental education. To consider the formation of environmental education based on the ethics of responsibility, influencing the formation of the vital-value orientations of the modern man. To recognize that the future of mankind depends on them exercising solidarity and behaving in an ecologically sensible way to preserve life on our planet.
The statement of basic material. The article discusses the contribution of the core values of the ethics of responsibility as an ethics of the future in shaping environmental education. Environmental education, as part of modern education, is shown to be an important aspect in the formation of environmental consciousness, which means that all education should be environmental, with an ethics of responsibility creating new values for the preservation of human existence in the present and future.
Conclusions. Global environmental problems can only be solved systematically. Different eras have defined environmental knowledge in different ways, so it is necessary to know their philosophical foundations in order to outline their contribution to environmental education. The challenge, therefore, is to give this process a socially humanistic direction, for it is difficult to imagine addressing today's environmental problems without addressing the ethics of responsibility as an ethics of the future.

Urgency of the research. The volunteer movement in Ukraine has turned from an almost imperceptible social phenomenon and a concomitant to the main social processes of the social movement over the last decade into a social mainstream that significantly affects the course of political, economic, and cultural processes in Ukraine. Liberalism should become a methodology for researching the freedom of the volunteer movement, but liberalism itself as a philosophy of social organization has a number of variations of its embodiment – from libertarianism to neoliberalism. In addition, the philosophy of liberalism had its development in different countries of the world, which inevitably influenced the way liberalism was interpreted by philosophers who belonged to different national traditions in politics and the development of civil society.
Target setting. It is worth paying attention to two main circumstances: in which country were the most developed pragmatic interpretations of basic liberal ideas, and also – which country's experience can become the most useful, that is, pragmatically valuable for the volunteer movement of Ukraine.
Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. As a methodology for the study of liberalism, the ideas of the multiple modernity of the famous Israeli sociologist Shmoel Eisenstadt, as well as the concept of the fluid modernity of the modern British thinker Zygmunt Bauman, were used. A key role is also played by the developments of American researchers – the “Thomas theorem” by William Isaac Thomas and the theory of “self-incarnated prophecy” by Robert Merton. Among the works of representatives of the philosophy of pragmatism, the works of William James, John Dewey and Richard Rorty will be considered, as well as the works of researchers of their work, such as J. Bird, D. Hildebrand, J. McGowan, S. Siegfried, E. Suckiel, as well as such Ukrainian researchers as M. Boichenko and especially Z. Dubniak. The concept of general social atmosphere, proposed by M. Maffesoli, also plays an important role in understanding the nature of the volunteer movement.
Setting objectives. This determines the need, based on the analysis of the works of key representatives of the philosophy of pragmatism, to find out how, in the conditions of today's fast-changing, risk-filled society, the ways and goals of the individual's self-realization of their own freedom are significantly clarified, in particular in the field of the volunteer movement.
The statement of basic materials. A key concept in the pragmatic reconstruction of liberalism is the concept of pragmatic faith: people unite in communities to achieve a new social reality – the one in which they believe – and achieve this goal through their actions under the influence of their faith. William James emphasizes the priority of a person's beliefs over valueless knowledge, John Dewey demonstrates the power of collective efforts in defense of faith in democracy, Richard Rorty proves the right of an individual to embody his faith even against the existing system of social institutions.
Conclusions. The methodology of the study of freedom in its specific interpretation in the volunteer movement finds the best examples of the understanding of civil freedom in the concepts of the classics of the philosophy of pragmatism, which set themselves the goal of giving higher efficiency to the values of liberalism. Particularly valuable are the principles of contextualizing the application of freedom, following convictions as a basis for finding rational practical solutions, informal and non-standard combination of collective efforts for common goals and protection of common values, as well as the principle of contingency of participation in social projects.
Key words: freedom, pragmatic version of liberalism, volunteer movement, pragmatic faith, political freedom

Urgency of the research. In Ukrainian society, a separate cultural element is the child and the period of childhood, as a social phenomenon. Folk pedagogy, family upbringing, educational customs and traditions with the use of folklore, which were the basis of education, again come to the fore, reflecting the identity of the Ukrainian family, which is a mirror of the nation as a whole.
Target setting. Geopolitical changes, finding the territories of Ukraine as part of other territories, globalization - created negative conditions for the existence of Ukrainian culture and traditions, but the war situation in Ukraine actualized the need not only to respect the cultural heritage, but also to study, use, popularize it in the territories of Ukraine.
Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The study of the child in the context of the traditional family took place on the basis of a Ukrainian village in the 20th century. This area was of particular interest to O. O. Yaroshynska, O. V. Kvas, N. V. Zhmud, Z. P. Bakum, A. Yemelovu, Z. P. Bohdan, S. M. Tkachuk.
The research objective. Based on the analysis of the latest research and publications, taking into account the problematic and topicality of the issue, the task of the research is a socio-philosophical analysis of "child", "childhood" in a traditional Ukrainian family, exploring the peculiarities of Ukrainian culture.
The statement of basic materials. Children are an essential element in a traditional Ukrainian family. Marriage itself was the realization of the need for procreation, and families were mostly large, abortion was socially condemned. The process of education was implemented by means of folk pedagogy, which was considered the greatest source of wisdom. Each child had his own responsibilities in the household, according to age and physical capabilities. That is, a child in a Ukrainian family was a full-fledged member of a social group that was perceived as an equal. Global dynamic processes have brought new, non-traditional aspects to the Ukrainian family, which undoubtedly have an impact on the child: same-sex relationships, child-free, guest marriages, polygamous relationships, etc. Such tendencies are becoming more and more widespread among the countries of Europe and the USA, taking into account the dominance of tolerance, pluralism, and secularization of society. However, they have a great influence on the phenomenology of childhood, because they reduce the birth rate due to refusal or inability to have a child. Such conditions make the family unsustainable, and therefore lead to negative dynamics of self-reproduction and procreation. It is important today to teach the young generation the basics of national culture and its features, which are symbols of nationhood, unity and patriotism in the Ukrainian consciousness. Unique archetypes from Ukrainian folklore (from legends, fairy tales) combine with children's lullabies much more natively and organically and leave a positive impression on the formation of the child's personality. They have an impact not only on the patriotic attitude to the homeland, but also bring up the characteristics characteristic of the Ukrainian people: hard work, respect for parents and the elderly, humane attitude to the environment, high moral qualities, strength of spirit and willpower, dignity, honor and courage .
Conclusions. The philosophical meaning of the family lies in the preservation and revival of the nation, and a viable nation preserves itself in the family, the forces of which are aimed at supporting the vitality of the entire social environment, through work, interaction with the natural environment, creative activity and respect for its own history, language, culture and traditions. The idea of spirituality, hard work, creative activity, love of life in harmony with nature - a red thread can be traced through the works of Ukrainian classics of literature and art. It is these virtues that are relevant today for the entire Ukrainian people, and their formation takes place through the education of young people who, after a short period of time, will become parents and use these values during family upbringing.

Urgency of the research. Society is entering a new stage of its development, where the attitude of a person to other people becomes a priority, democracy is impossible without open discussion and acceptance of the values of civil society, where everyone feels their involvement in the fate of the country. States will inevitably face the problem of forming institutions that meet the needs and interests of citizens, which will lead to conflicts under the influence of globalization trends. For Ukraine, the relevance of the study of civic education is also strengthened by the issue of national security. This is not only related to how we can defeat Russia militarily, but how to defeat it ideologically and socially in order to preserve the national character of the country and the civic consciousness of the people for many years after the war.
Target setting. The tasks of civic education are not of a universal nature, because they depend on the era, the country and the current state of development of society and the challenges facing it. There is a contradiction between the state of civic education, its goals and tasks, which have been declared until now, and the need for their significant renewal before the challenges of Russia's military, information and propaganda aggression. It can be solved by studying the experience of other countries that went through the war, taking into account the peculiarities of Ukrainian development.
Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The following authors investigate the general principles of the functioning and development of the civic education system: J. Banks, J. Hibbing, E. Theiss-Morse, С. Barber, S. Sweetwood, M. King, R. Callahan, С. Muller, D. Camp-bell, J. Dahlgard and others. The pedagogical dimension of civic education is explored by T. Dee, B. Gill, J. Holbein, J. Kahne and others. Among domestic researchers, we note V. Andrushchenko, V. Voronkova, O. Kyvlyuk, K. Klyuzko, L. Kolesnyk, T. Bakka, T. Meleshchenko and others. At the same time, the array of foreign and domestic sources does not fully cover the specifics of the tasks of civic education in the period of armed and informational aggression.
The research objective. To carry out an analysis of the tasks of civic education of Ukraine in the conditions of armed and informational aggression of the Russian Federation.
The statement of basic materials. Civic education fulfills the function of reproducing, preserving and passing on to the next generations the values and cultural heritage of a certain nation and state. Therefore, one of the leading goals of education is the formation of a citizen of a free, independent, democratic European state. This, in turn, actualizes civic education as a sphere where the formation of such a personality takes place in the conditions of armed and informational aggression, as well as in the perspective of the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
Conclusions. It is shown that the main vectors of the transformation of the tasks of civic education are: formation of the national cultural paradigm and civic identity of the "activity" content; deployment of own mass system of creation of Ukrainian-language content; transition from the paternalistic perception of the state as a "state service" to the awareness of personal responsibility for the fate of the state; active use of already existing educational technologies of critical thinking and media literacy; creating conditions for the integration of war-traumatized persons into society; formation of ethics of social behavior and formation of a culture of social action.
