Urgency of the research. Modern teachers need the training to implement the reform of the educational process, including the competence approach outlined by the formation of key competencies, including entrepreneurship, which provides an opportunity to form a teacher of the XXI century.
Target setting. Accordingly, institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education should ensure the formation of entrepreneurial competence of teachers, which became the basis of the study.
Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The article analyzes the theoretical and methodological sources on the researched problem, clarifies the essence of the conceptual apparatus. Various aspects of teacher training have been studied in the works of both domestic and foreign scientists, in particular: V. Bespalko, M. Vakulenko, I. Zyazyun, I. Yermakova, S. Maksymenko, V. Palamarchuk, S. Goncharenko, V. Kremen, N. Nychkalo, O. Pometun, V. Khiminets, L. Danilova and others.
The research objective. The author defines the task: to analyze educational and professional programs of advanced training of teachers of natural specialties and educational and thematic plans on the possibility of forming entrepreneurial competence; to develop mechanisms for the implementation of entrepreneurial competence in the educational process of institutes of postgraduate pedagogical education and to organize the diagnosis of the formation of entrepreneurial competence of teachers in the course of the study.
The statement of basic materials. The conducted analysis of educational and professional training programs for teachers of natural specialties and curricula on the possibility of forming entrepreneurial competence revealed problems and encouraged the implementation of entrepreneurial competence in the educational process of postgraduate pedagogical education institutions through the developed algorithm of individual educational trajectory of natural science teachers.
Conclusions. The results of approbation testify to the positive dynamics of the formation of entrepreneurial competence of teachers of natural specialties of experimental groups in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education.
