Relevance of the research. International humanitarian strategies serve as a key instrument in shaping identity, contributing to the promotion of Ukrainian culture on the global stage and the strengthening of national self-awareness. The relevance of this topic stems from the necessity of a systematic scholarly analysis of the mechanisms for implementing these strategies within the context of cultural diplomacy and international cooperation.
Problem statement. In the current conditions of intensified globalization, national cultural systems are undergoing significant transformations, which brings the issue of preserving and maintaining national cultural identity to the forefront. Ukraine, as a country with a rich historical and cultural heritage, faces the challenge of balancing the preservation of traditions with openness to global cultural influences.
Analysis of recent research and publications. In addressing this issue, we have relied on the works of contemporary Ukrainian scholars such as V. Bytaiev, S. Sobolevska, I. Kovalchuk, V. Drach, I. Kostyra, O. Panchenko, V. Chernets, and others.
Research task. To identify the specific features of employing international humanitarian strategies for preserving Ukraine’s cultural identity during the processes of global transformation, using examples from current institutions and cultural organizations.
Main material presentation. The article reveals the peculiarities of using international humanitarian strategies to preserve Ukraine's cultural identity in the context of globalization transformations on the example of existing cultural institutions and establishments. The research methodology for this issue through the prism of cultural studies is to apply a systematic approach using analytical, comparative, and cross-cultural research methods. The scientific novelty is to define the role of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (NMAU) as a leading artistic institution with active international activities in the humanitarian strategy of Ukraine, which contributes to the formation and affirmation of cultural identity in the context of globalization, in the further development and popularization of Ukrainian culture in the world.
Conclusions. International humanitarian strategies play a key role in the process of shaping Ukraine's cultural identity in the context of globalization transformations. The theoretical approaches of domestic and foreign researchers confirm that cultural identity is a dynamic process that combines traditional and innovative elements of culture. The development of modern strategies for the development of Ukrainian culture and the development of cultural relations through the activities of cultural diplomacy institutions contribute to the formation of a positive image of Ukraine in the world. Ukrainian institutions, in particular the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy, demonstrate effective implementation of international humanitarian strategies through international academic programs, cultural projects, and digital initiatives to preserve the uniqueness of national culture and its integration into the global humanitarian space, which is of great importance for Ukraine's national security and cultural development.
