Urgency of the research. Global transformations that take place in the geopolitical dimension, in one way or another apply to culture. The need to determine the actual civilizational and cultural dimension of human existence has become extremely acute in order to avoid those risks that now become a threat to all resources of human existence, civilizational, cultural, economic, geopolitical and others. In fact, culture as a grant of human integrity, as an artificially realized reality, superimposed on nature, as it was defined in its time, is also being tested by the resource of its capabilities. So much so that in modern culture a person can remain human, so much so that modern culture is the guarantor of human integrity.

Target setting. Stylistic transformations of culture extremely sharply define its humanitarian potential, structuring figurative implications of being as iconology and iconography. Thus, the well-known features of the Ukrainian Baroque – redundancy, brightness, in Ukrainian modernism determine the synthesis of contextual components of the figurative world order of European culture, postmodernism has opened the floodgates of allusionism, an ironic attitude to the recent past. What paradigms of thinking, cultural matrices are the priorities in the twentieth century?

Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The problem of styling in Ukrainian culture is sufficiently elaborated as a differential poetics, because the end-to-end formative dominants are poorly defined. Thus, the problem of Ukrainian Baroque was studied in the works of G. Logvin, A. Makarov, V. Ovsiychuk. Modern as a style, as a worldview paradigm, as a certain artistic symbiosis was studied in the works of Y. Legen`ky, T. Rozova, V. Chepelyk, etc. Postmodern implications of cultural creation are reflected in the works of T. Rozova, V. Chernetsky, L. Chorna.

The research objective. To characterize metaecological (worldview-paradigmatic, existential, aesthetic, art criticism) guidelines of style creation in the Ukrainian culture of the XX century.

The statement of basic materials. The article is devoted to the definition of stylistic guidelines of cultural creation as a dominant of the humanitarian integrity of Ukrainian culture. Ukrainian Baroque is defined as the creative epicentre of cultural creativity of the twentieth century. Ukrainian culture has always faced the choice of solving the cultural situation and way of life, which appeals to the individual, who in turn is the bearer of responsibility, the bearer of humanitarian security, the opportunity to be and not to be, to carry and not to carry the world. Ukrainian history has shown all these possibilities. Worldview matrices, possibilities of typological comprehension of cultural creativity as an ecosystem, due to which the integrity of man as the unity of man and nature, man and culture, man and absolute, tradition and creativity are formed, are analyzed.

Conclusions. It is proved that the modern worldview paradigm and the Art Nouveau style in Ukrainian culture become integrative cultural phenomena, combining the intentions of modernism and avant-garde. It is determined that postmodern transformations of culture manifested themselves mainly with the acquisition of Ukraine's independence and once again opened a window to postmodern Europe.
