Urgency of the research. Planned training, aimed at satisfying the educational needs of citizens, individual social and professional groups, is the result of increasing the educational potential of society. Unlike academic, non-academic education is carried out by various organizations and institutions and not always professional teachers. It is less structured and does not necessarily result in the receipt of a generally recognized document on education, advocated by the so-called alternative education.

Target setting. Are there complex educational processes that have taken place in Ukraine in recent decades, increasing the stability, spirituality and potential of the educational system of the country?

Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The concept of non-academic education as a modern educational paradigm was considered in works by S. Warburton [12], L. Green [7], O. Kyvliuk [3], J. Cohen [6], D. Oblinge [9], D. Super [11] and others.

The research objective. Education as a process of development of the inner world of the individual, including the attitude of person to himself, the outside world and to other people, involves cognitive educational activity as an activity that replies the need for different knowledge. It is this kind of educational activity that can really come from the content and direction of value orientations, personal meanings and attitudes, that is, to create the foundation for personal development at any age.

The statement of basic material. Requests for lifelong learning are becoming more and more relevant and reflect not only the need for education but also the stability of the country, because education is a mainstay of the social, professional and social sectors. The indisputable definition of non-academic education as an unusual phenomenon in the modern educational world leads to satisfaction of the actual requests of citizens.

Conclusions. In order to consolidate society and strengthen the state, the person has to have extensive knowledge, skills and attainments that correspond to the national idea in its ideological sense. Taking into account educational and disciplinary aspects of society's development and information and communication technologies makes a significant contribution to solving the problems of ensuring the professional needs of the population. Non-academic education becomes relevant along with academic one; it can be obtained outside the institutional structures, including using the open e-learning resources inherent in modern learning.

Keywords: non-academic education, alternative education, academic institution, phenomenon, methodology, training.
