Urgency of the research. The modern labor market needs specialists of a new generation who are able to work in the conditions of a transformational information society that quickly adapts to the changes that are constantly occurring in the field of information technologies.
Target setting. The system of professional pre-higher education institutions faces an urgent task - to improve the quality of professional training of future bachelors in computer technologies, which consists in improving the student learning process by revising approaches to the organization of this process.
Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. Attention to the development of professional competence of future specialists such as: V. Andrushchenko, V. Bondar, L. Vitrenko, B. Gershunskyi, M. Golovan, S. Horban, A. Gritchenko, A. Gurzhii, L. Dybkova, G. Yevtushenko, O. Kernytskyi, А. Kokarieva, S. Kotova, V. Kurok, O. Lytvyn, N. Lytvynova, E. Luzik, L. Motorna, A. Nizovtsev, L. Omelchenko, V. Semichenko, M. Chaplak and others. The formation of professional competencies of future bachelors in computer engineering is highlighted in the studies of V. Baidenko, T. Vakalyuk, I. Zimnaya, L. Zubyk, A. Markova, S. Proskura, K. Mykhasyuk. The problem of modeling in pedagogical science was considered by N. Boyarchuk, T. Vaschyk, O. Dakhin, I. Zyazyun, V. Mikheev, O. Pirogova, K. Stryuk, H. Sukhodolsky and other scientists.
The research objective. The purpose of this article is to develop a structural and functional model of the formation of professional competence of future bachelors in computer engineering in institutions of vocational higher education.
The statement of main materials. The structural-functional model of the formation of professional competence of future bachelors in computer engineering in professional higher education institutions was developed within the framework of the conducted research. It consists of a set of four interrelated blocks that ensure its functioning: conceptual, content-technological, competence, diagnostic. We will describe each of the components of the model in more detail.
Conclusions. The situation of high competition in the modern IT market presents educational institutions with the task of improving the professional training of graduates of technical fields due to the formation of professional competence in the field of information technologies; the formation of professional competence of future specialists in computer technologies in institutions of professional higher education has high prospects under the condition of functioning of the developed structurally functional model; the inclusion of a structural-functional model of professional competence formation of future specialists in computer technologies in the system of the educational process of institutions of professional advanced education contributes to increasing the efficiency of professional training of IT personnel, competitive in the modern labor market.
