Axiological principles of sustainable development: a socio-philosophical analysis

 Relevance of the research. The relevance of the research is due to the growth of global environmental, social and technological challenges, which actualize the need for a philosophical rethinking of sustainable development not only as a management or economic strategy, but as a holistic axiological project.

Problem statement. In modern scientific discourse, there is a methodological and conceptual disconnect between the analysis of individual values and their holistic socio-philosophical understanding in the context of global transformations caused by digitalization, technological acceleration and the growth of environmental risks, which complicates the understanding of sustainable development as a coherent system of ethical guidelines.

Analysis of recent research and publications. The issue of sustainable development has been thoroughly understood in the works of Ukrainian researchers, in particular M. Boychenko, L. Gorbunova, L. Horoshkova, V. Zinchenko, L. Kalinichenko, O. Kyvlyuk, O. Polishchuk, N. Petruk and others.

Research task. To outline the axiological principles of sustainable development, interpreting them through a set of values, in particular responsibility, justice, freedom, participation and inclusion.

Main material presentation. The article conceptualizes sustainable development as a holistic value-normative model of social existence. A socio-philosophical analysis of the key axiological principles of sustainable development, in particular responsibility, justice, freedom, participation and inclusion, is carried out in the context of growing global interdependence, environmental risks and technological challenges of modernity. The interdependence of the specified values and their determining role in the formation of sustainable models of social transformations is substantiated.

Conclusions. It is substantiated that sustainable development appears as a holistic axiological project, within which responsibility, justice, freedom, participation and inclusion form an interconnected normative system. It is shown that the coordination of these values is a necessary condition for long-term social transformations aimed at preserving the progress of humanity and harmonizing the relations between human, society and nature.
