Urgency of the research. In today’s globalised, information-rich, and technologically advanced world, creativity is becoming essential for innovation and adapting to new conditions. It helps individuals find their place and discover their uniqueness. Rethinking the concept of creativity in philosophical and anthropological discourse is increasingly important for developing effective cultural, scientific, educational, and socio-economic practices.
Target setting. The nature of creativity is inherently interdisciplinary, necessitating the exploration of new approaches and a re-evaluation of existing ones for both theoretical understanding and practical application. As a key resource for innovation, creativity should be recognised as a fundamental component of scientific, technical, socio-economic, and cultural progress. It plays a crucial role in balancing environmental concerns with individual needs, as well as in addressing global crises and challenges.
Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. Creativity as a philosophical category is examined in the works of Ukrainian scholars: E. Andros, V. Liakh, T. Liutyi, K. Nikolenko, B. Novikov, R. Oleksenko, M. Popovych, L. Tarasiuk, N. Khamitova, I. Chornomordenko, and others. The creative potential of individuals in response to challenges is explored in the works of Y. Zinkovskyi, L. Korotkova, V. Moliako, V. Pavlenko, S. Sysoieva, V. Kholodenko, S. Shandruk, and others.
The research objective. Examining creativity through the lens of philosophical and anthropological discourse reveals its potential to generate new ideas that address issues such as freedom, responsibility, self-realisation, self-identity, and the creative quest. These aspects significantly influence an individual's sense of place in the world.
The statement of basic materials. The article examines the potential of human thought, particularly its capacity to generate new ideas and infuse them with theoretical depth, practical significance, and value orientations. By exploring the philosophical and anthropological aspects of creativity, it highlights its existential roots. This understanding enables individuals not only to adapt to their environment but also to actively transform it, thereby creating new elements of culture, knowledge, and social relationships.
Conclusions. Reflecting on the nature of creativity from both philosophical and anthropological perspectives has helped us uncover its multifaceted characteristics. Creativity intertwines individual uniqueness with social stereotypes, blending rational and intuitive aspirations and abilities, as well as independence and authority. As both a quality and a process, creative thinking serves not only as a tool for self-realisation but also as a method for shaping a new reality and constructing an interconnected understanding of the world in all its aspects and manifestations.
